deskn.cpl From "Simple Classic Theme" is Crashing.

So, i'm trying to get classic theme working on Windows 10 1909 (I know its a bad version to install the classic theme on, but i can't get the drivers for my graphics card on older versions of windows 10. 
), but i when i try to change the classic theme color scheme and then hitting the apply button in deskn.cpl, it doesn't respond and then crashes. Does anyone know a fix?
