Just want to say thanks for sharing ThemeEditor.cpl as I have been looking for this legacy functionality for Windows 8.x and 10 for a LONG time!  |

The ThemeEditor.cpl file works well. The only issue with it is it only loads 'legacy' schemes and not XP schemes. This means that there are a few colors it cannot change, and it can't switch between the 3D/Flat menu style. But for now, it's the best we've got.
(BTW if it freezes on you, try killing Skype if you have that running)
