How did you save the context menu and taskbar in Windows 11 classic theme? I also want to use the classic theme in Windows 11.

Two questions if that's ok.
1. Does the taskbar take on the system theme colour or is that some sort of third party skin? 2. How are the context menus? Are you using ExplorerContextMenuTweaker?
Cheers.

Cheers. 1. Yes, it takes the system color on the fly, once the color scheme is changed. It also uses the system fonts and subpixel hinting: 2. Context menus (for both taskbar and file manager) has been recently integrated in Explorer Patcher. No need for any tweakers any more. Attachments:

Explorer Patcher also automatically enables ClientEdge(3D border) in folders in Classic theme and has an option to remove the Navbar.

So you're telling me that classic theme is better on Windows 11 than Windows 10?? Yes, because of Explorer Patcher. * I removed a lot of unneeded things from my AHK script, such as ClientEdge and Navbar removal because they were already added to Explorer Patcher * Instead I enabled a global fix for transparency of applications, like PaleMoon, Firefox and some Windows dialogs. The fix worked on Win8.1 as well, but disrupted window animations. On Win11 it does not. * Explorer Patcher also includes the fixes for the context menus on the taskbar, in File Explorer and in open/save dialogs. * The Wi-Fi flyout in system tray works well with Explorer Patcher under Classic theme. * Under Win11 Classic theme all 3 windows choosers (Alt+Tab) work well: Win11-style, Win10-style and Win2000-style. On Windows 8.1 under Classic theme only Win2000-style was available.

Thank you Anixx for answering my questions. But if I may, can ask one more: how are context menus in general - do they function as they should or are they as buggy/appear blank sometimes like they do with ExplorerContextMenuTweaker?
Explorer Patcher sounds awesome. It's just a shame it's for W11, but for people on the latest Windows version this patch is perfect.

Explorer Patcher sounds awesome. It's just a shame it's for W11, but for people on the latest Windows version this patch is perfect. The context menus work entirely perfect, on taskbar, in file manager and in open/save dialogs. One can choose 3 types of context menus: Win11, Win10 (immersive) and classic. There is also 3-way choice for Alt+Tab switcher, for calendar flyout and for other things as well.

Can we say classic theme user should move to Windows 11 now? I never used Windows 10, but with Explorer Patcher Classic theme works better under Windows 11 than under Windows 8.1 (if not to count the flat style of the taskbar buttons). Reliable navbar removal and reliable Client Edge worth a lot. The scripts used under Win8.1 were glitchy.

It might be good if you plan to use the Pre-Vista control panel items, or to just stick with the metro ugly theme-unfriendly inconsistent uncustomizable "Settings" app, but for people who want to use the Vista+ Control Panel items, and ESPECIALLY the System one, it'll be awful. I still haven't figured out how to get the old Vista system control panel yet, yet alone even re-linking the control panel entry to open that System panel.
