I had to install Windows 10 after I accidentally deleted some important system files.  Organized the Settings menu:  Themed Pale Moon to look like IE5:  Added Explore and Search to the My Computer context menu:  To-do: - Re-install every program I had (done)
- Modify a few system files (mostly done)
- Try to sort out the taskbar context menu

Where did you get the Failmoon ie5 theme? How was my document file created on the desktop? I added Install_current_user_only.reg, but the desktop could not be created, so it is a shortcut icon... |

To get My documents, create a folder with name "My documents.{d3162b92-9365-467a-956b-92703aca08af}". Then refresh desktop. |

My Documents.{d3162b92-9365-467a-956b-92703aca08af} wallpaper has been created. But how do I change the document name to My Documents? |

You should create a folder, not a wallpaper. As to the change of name from "Documents" to "My documents", I have no idea, maybe via registry.

This is perfection! Can you or do you know about a step by step guide to get it this good? And are there any bugs with programs/games/g sync, anything when using this theme? I love this so much... Takes me back to my youth  |

Takes me back to my youth  Most of what I've done can be accomplished with SimpleClassicTheme and other tools on this forum. All programs that I use work fine without issue and there is no screen tearing. As for a guide, I will probably not be making one at it would be very time-consuming. |

This is only my opinion, but I think that rather than arguing on the best way to activate the classic theme, it would be more judicious to offer the visitor of the forum a objective comparative table of the different methods/software to activate the classic theme. A bit like here with the comparison of start menus : www.classicshell.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2399I can take care of starting the table (of course, only if everyone agrees). |

I just find it extremely annoying how when anyone needs help with Simple Clasisc Theme, anixx goes 'oh yeah just use explorer patcher lol'. I don't care if you like SCT or not, just don't push EP-method in conversations about SCT. You're not adding to the conversation, in fact, most of the time you're just making people more confused on how to do stuff. This is my spooky number-th (666th) post. |
