Small update: My internal floppy drive died. Not sure if it's the USB converter or the actual drive itself, but it died. I def don't advise getting one. Get a cheapy USB floppy drive instead. I also bought myself a NAS, and connected some random HDDs I had laying around to it. I also scrubbed my W11 install because to be frank, W11 sux. The MacOS like toolbar looked a bit tacky tbh, so I modified it further. Added a media control applet, removed the time, the Windows icon is gone.

The top bar now (as seen in the screenshot in the post above) autohides when not in use, which is far better.

What file manager is that? Cant say it is windows 10 explorer + quero toolbar. Ive known these things since years back and quero does not have any sort of independent toolbar it instantly jumps to empty space when toolbars are locked
And that above does not seem like open shell commandbar. it only comes with 16x16 and 24x24 buttons
If its not windows 10 explorer with addons what file manager is that? any download links? nothing is in the resource links

If its not windows 10 explorer with addons what file manager is that? any download links? nothing is in the resource links It's File Explorer. Address bar is the original address bar that TechSalt + R.O.B. found awhile back that can be re-enabled (it's pretty buggy tho): winclassic.net/thread/1004/classic-toolbars-address-explorer-restoredI use a combination of SCT File Explorer Hook and Cynosphere's Classic Theme Explorer mod for Windhawk to stabilize it somewhat and allow some level of customization. SCT FEH: github.com/AEAEAEAE4343/SimpleClassicTheme.FileExplorerHookWindhawk mods link: winclassic.net/thread/1593/windhawk-mod-linksAs for the other toolbar, that is OpenShell. I'll need to pack up the icons I use and the config file too if you want it, but tomorrow will be the earliest I can upload it. I'd also like to note I'm on a pretty old build of W10 - namely from 2016. ALOT has changed in the past few years, and I know they've done some pretty serious backend changes, namely to the default address bar (which also affects the OG/XP address bar) and the menu item list itself. EDIT: Also, I think Travis showed off a custom made address bar and throbber that someone on here is working on. I could be wrong tho.

it eats, what 500 mb ram?
the ballpark would be 500-600 mbytes ram with 8-10 processes running
and are you running it on startup? they say its supposed to run in the background with no noticeable impact on anything lul I here am trying to make use of addressbar sync fix - all other things from classic explorer mod are known and uneeded
got all that already disabled
no chance to have it inject the code I need without running the UI in the background?
having that bloat in the backdrop 24/7 does not give a good reason for fixing addressbar folder sync

icons you use are from the 2000
I have a zillion of them icons
2000 98 95, ... what have you, a gob of them
I am asking how is it so that open shell fits its own toolbar without jumping up / down to any active toolbar above / beneath when you lock toolbars
well I noticed everyone here has that same toolbar and if it is open shell, I am not sure how it is possible, I bet open shell does not have a drop down views menu button
you can add any views button -icons, list, details but not a dropdown menu
wait a minute does open shell even have the button to toggle sidepane?
I guess it does not
I might be missing something (if that is in fact normal open shell command bar which I doubt it is)
what version is it?

solved. I opted out of the portable and went through standard installation. The classic explorer code works alright except it never puts client edge on anything. Need to run ahk for that.
Classic adressbar path is now syncing but still no icon
Which dll controls it? Gonna inject my icon manually

The address bar is buggy, and was gutted by MS when they added the breadcrumb one in Vista. Icons don't update, and I'm sorry, but I don't know what DLL controls it. There's a new address bar being worked on right now, I'd wait for that to be finished.

Its alright its garbage anyway
I am not sure why my folderband looks like this
Both XP and reactos - no folders
I grabbed the dlls needed from XP x64 sp3, hex renamed any occurrences of other files with new names
dropped dlls to system32
set up the path to modified ddl under {EFA24E64-B078-11d0-89E4-00C04FC9E26E}
does not seem to work for me
ReactOS browseui.dll outputs same thing
I am running 1703

Your dlls are identical to mine. Except I made two versions for each file where I replaced occurrences of each file's old name in the same file.
No play empty pane
I also removed {377D8121-EFAA-4D1C-981B-8BFAD9F10DE3} from explorer bars, thought that CLSID could interfere with XP dlls
Nope its not working for me
Guess you guys did something else to get it to work
I read fast, skip 90% XD
Tend to skim very promptly through the threads, grab what I need and close
I might have missed something

Thinking to make mine too as dualboot Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, I've been away for the past week. I'm using LTSB 2016 atm. I'm currently looking into migrating over to Win11, maybe when I upgrade to a new PC.
