Turns out by readding the classes for Windows XP's start menu and taskbar you can fix the look of the explorer although most of it is nonfunctional the taskbar is the only thing that seems to mostly work fine here I've attached a stylescript and stylehack that can be used to bring back the classes and properties needed for this to work, aswell as an msstyles i've edited to include these.

Obviously it is XP Explorer, it is known to work mostly, except the start menu and tray.

Vista explorer can be restored somewhat through this method as well, but it is much more nonfunctional than XP's explorer Windows 7's simply doesn't work

Can we get an update/tutorial on this? all you really need is just an msstyles with the required classes for it to work but the menu itself is nonfunctional

Just get it from any Windows XP SP3 x86 ISO... But how can I get it without installing it, I can’t be bothered to find a stupid product key that turns out to be invalid
