Greeeetings!!! I'm Rol. I've been obsessed with user interface stuff since I was like, in kindergarden??? It's been a lifelong obsession 
I've always been fond of old 90s UI stuff, and for a while now I've been daily driving Debian, using the Trinity desktop, themed very much like Windows Classic with the Brick color scheme, but suddenly! I've been considering trying out some games, games which unfortunately still don't work on Linux despite everything. I ended up just caving in and reinstalling Windows for the meantime, but I do not like how Windows feeeeeeeels to use nowadays.
Then I remember, LTSC exists (  ), and people still care for the classic theme! Which I adore, and can not live without.  So I installed that! And it's been nice, I love how everything looks identical to how I had it on Linux. Same theming, after all.
But yesss, this seems like a lovely community, I really adore how there are so many people here willing to put in the effort to keep this side of Windows alive. It is nice

Hello, I'm new here. I like to play video games, I like anime, sometimes I make stupid memes, I like WWE and AEW (my dad had got me into it since March of this year).
Sometimes I try to change the look of my Windows 11 laptop, sometimes I just switch from Windows Vista theme, Windows 7 Theme or Windows 8/8.1 (I just can't make up my mind of which theme to stick with! I just choose one then eventually change to a different one).
I want to be a video game developer when I get older. Sometimes I dreamed about being an American Samurai, I know it's a dumb dream... but for an American, I like Japanese culture.
I'm not that social in real life nor online but I am kinda social on Xbox, if anyone wants to talk to me on Xbox (or if you have the Xbox app on PC or mobile), I'll add y'all.

1. RetroBar is pretty bad for a number of reasons. I recommend using StartIsBack++ with the Aero10 Vista theme instead. 2. If not already, use Aerexplorer for a even better Vista look. 3. Use this Start menu style for Open Shell: winclassic.net/thread/2362/modified-version-open-vistalike-skin It's a near 1:1 Windows Vista start menu skin. |

Hey all, I'm Darrell. I'm from the U.S. but live in Scandinavia. I grew up with classic Windows and have grown not only to look fondly back at them, but also just overall enjoy the simplicity of those times and am actively doing my best to get Windows 10 to look like Windows 98.

Hello! I'm Asev (Archie), I'm 16 from the United Kingdom, and I've grown up around windows vista/7.
I have always been interested in technology, and over the last 5 years-ish, more so into operating systems and of course customizing everything I can. I cant stand having anything stock and I have some experience in ricing arch linux but I always end up coming back to windows.
I have visited this website many times but am only joining this community now. I find this niche very interesting and I love all of the programs made and discoveries found by this community.
