mega.nz/file/TdF1EA7C#8zuV7zM_ZnhDs0fPrTWfyTIXXr8CV6m1phn7WbAlQu4Hi everyone, I have installed the background, and it works so far. I just have a few technical questions: 1. I have installed updates. When I restart the PC, it does not say "Windows updates are being installed," but "Windows is restarting." 2. Question: When I have programs open, I don't see the Windows 7 layout but the Windows 10 layout. Why is that? 3. When booting up, the login field with the password briefly appears before the "Welcome" screen. 4. I would like to resize the login profile picture so that it has the same pixel size as the profile picture for switching users. Do you know where the code for this is? I appreciate your feedback and solutions. Thank you!

For the first one, its probably because it doesn't check for the update strings (I mean, most of us nuke Windows Update anyway because of it breaking customizations).

Thanks for the answer, Enderboy. I found it. Thanks for the answer, Legofan. I hadn't thought of that. Does anyone happen to know if the "force shutdown" feature from Windows 10 can be replaced in Windows 7?

Hi! I'm working on creating a "classic" version of the console logon UI. I am attaching the UI file to this post, any help would be greatly appreciated. Attachments:ConsoleLogonUI.dll (3.12 MB)

I have to test it, but at first glance, the colors don't seem customizable. To create a classic version, you have to use native controls rather than bitmaps. Afterwards, this requires recompiling the graphic part, not just modifying the dll.
