Thank you for the information. But how do I solve the problems? Downgrading explorer itself will cause problems, since this mod is still kinda experimental i would recommend you to use latest version of Explorer Patcher, which has a reimplemented 10 taskbar. I actually didn't want to use two tools and focused on Windhawk. In addition, EP was declared "undesirable" by Microsoft. I am aware that EP can do all of this (it has Windows 10 (ExplorerPatcher) taskbar style) but I have concerns about how and whether EP will continue at all. I am mainly concerned about the old taskbar, the start menu and the "not grouping" (which allows you to move two open notepads underneath each other in the taskbar, for example, so you can move several applications of the same "type"). EP simply cannot do the "not grouping" thing, at least I haven't found anything about it.

You are already trying to achieve something that MS doesn't want you to achieve. Also EP has the option to disable and enable grouping, since the earliest days iirc. Just follow the steps in EP GitHub and you will see the results.

<critical_system_processes> removing in the Windhawk settings worked. However, I find it a little unsafe to remove critical system processes. In addition, the start menu is no longer on the left but in the middle above the taskbar. Restarting Windows Explorer.exe via the task manager is no longer possible, only End Task works and the screen remains blank until you start Explorer manually (via the task manager). In addition, the context menu of the taskbar no longer works properly (start button, time, free area of the taskbar, info center does not work with a right click and active applications do not work with a left or right click, so it does not open if you want to create multiple desktops). And last but not least, the language setting pops up in the top left corner every time you restart. Those are all known quirks. You just didn't read the thread enough.

It's also difficult if you only speak German and don't have much knowledge of English. I'm sorry. I've already read something about it, but I thought that it was already partly fixed and only I had the problems

Causes a separate button to be created on the taskbar for each new window. For example, notice the two separate buttons for Notepad on the screenshot
The mod can do that but is not compatible with the ExplorerPatcher in the taskbar style setting Windows 10 (ExplorerPatcher).
