that mod is already dead. use aubrey's mod instead.

I seem to have read that for some reason Aubrey's mod doesn't work well under explorer7.

It works well,i tested explorer7 before release a couple of times and it never broke anything.

- If you want to get a classic style start menu with OpenShell (and not the classic Windows 7 style) active the "Hide the start button" option in 7+Taskbar Tweaker

s34642542 The iconless start button is a known bug; for now, the only solution is to use OpenShell instead. For the rest, OpenShell is indeed not needed if you use explorer7; without OpenShell, the start menu behavior will be identical to Windows 7 (this is a matter of personal preference).
Concerning the transparent taskbar, I never had this issue, even without BasicThemer. Are you using a Windhawk mod like this one or this one (or something similar)?

I wasn't, no, but after trying anixx's mod the issue went away.  Thank you.  Another issue is that the network and volume icons seem to use the immersive context menu (and left clicking them does nothing) and even the "Eradicate Immersive Context Menus" mod doesn't seem to fix it.  Apologies if these are already known.

I think to fix this you need to use the "Non Immersive Taskbar Context Menu" mod
