How did you make this control panel? (apologies if you explained it already, I looked but didn't see it) They are shortcuts. I hid the shortcut icon so it no longer appears, and just put all of those shortcuts into a folder. Added benefit to using shortcuts, is you can add comments to them, so they show up when you hover over them with your mouse on the shortcut itself as a tooltip. anixx : Thank you, but I've already modified the icons themselves. Ah okay thanks, I was doing that as well but the shortcut overlay was bugging me, don't want to remove it altogether so I guess I'll just have to live with it

I've been having a little fun with Anixx's method of making buttons have the old "W95 3D" look: Explorer: Irfanview: Trying to teach myself how to get these stick across new instances via AHK, and it's not going so well. Can only achieve it via Window Detective. Also, found out you can the 3D effect on the ROS taskbar's Quick Launch as well: You just need to edit Anixx's script from ToolbarWindow323 to ToolbarWindow32 2 and it'll take effect. I have a question: how did you do to add the address bar to the left of the toolbar? Otherwise, the Irfanview toolbar does not respect the colors of classic icons well; I have changed it for this purpose : www.winclassic.net/thread/1074/classic-toolbar-icons-various-softwares

^ I was using the Quero address bar to do that. It's made for Internet Explorer but works with File Explorer too.

I have Quero, it's just that I did not know that the Quero bar could be on the left of the Open-Shell bar Unfortunately, it is not an exact reproduction of the Windows 95/NT 4 bar, because there is not the menu of the path. I'm going to take to search in Quero's settings.

Sadly Quero and the old legacy address bar all have their own issues (and if you're on newer W10 builds/W11, the default one). Small Update: Currently using a new weather program that in sits in the tray area called TrayWeather. Punchy name aside, it works well. Only problem I've got is the icons don't really gel with my classic theme setup. I'm currently trying to locate a free to use custom weather pack, and then I'll ask the author of the program if they could perhaps include the set - otherwise I'll try and reshack the program itself.

I don't know what you're talking about with the drop down thing on the taskbar. For Irfanview toolbars icons, it's here : www.winclassic.net/thread/1074/classic-toolbar-icons-various-softwaresFor the icons of the explorer, it seems to me that The Jackal had shared all these icons in an archive (I do not know where on the forum).

<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> I mean this thing This is the Quero toolbar. You have to unlock the toolbars, move the Quero toolbar to the left of the Open-Shell toolbar, then lock the toolbars. On the other hand, I do not know the Quero skin that The Jackal used.

If it is to make it look like the W95 explorer with the sidebar and the toolbar, yes. If it is to make it look like the W95 explorer with just the files and the menu bar, no.

Yeah I mean with the side bar, do you know if that would be possible? Maybe with certain limitations. I will look at that soon.

Yeah, that's Quero address bar. As for those icons, I think it might be in this thread, though I'm not 100% on that: www.winclassic.net/thread/756/resource-libraryIf it's not, and someone can post it, I'll add to that thread asap.

Very nice setup jackal but a quick question how did you get taskbow working without using light colors and classic theme colors in system tray? I used Taskbow with the (old) Reactos taskbar. The reactos taskbar is unfinished and shouldn't be used nowadays, esp when we have SCTT and Retrobar. I think Anixx got Taskbow working well with the W10/11 taskbar, system colours and all, you're prob best dropping him a msg.
