Hi, I've got my Windows 10 VM working as shown in the attached picture. It all seems to work, including the links in the Quick Launch bar, except the Notification icons. Can anyone please tell me how to add the Network Notification icon to the Notification area? Sorry don't know why the picture is so small. Thanks, Kevin Attachments:

Thanks,

Winxshell is a portable edition of reactos shell better in functionality then the reactos taskbar u get here but ugly themed. If u know programming maybe u can change it cause its open source only language bar refuses to fire up the rest works. Best solution for good working taskbar would be add rosshell support to 7 taskbar then add the classicshell pre 2.4.5 to startmenu or add them all to explorer

I just tried Classic Shell 4.2.4 on two Windows 10 installs - and both tell them they aren't compatible with the version I'm running and refuse to install. That was 1709 and LTSB. Unless you're on like, IDK the first versions of W10, I don't think it's a viable option. I cant hear ya i deleted windows defender securityhealth and smartscreen and disabled uac no such problems

Hi,
I had Windows 10 1709 installed in a VM, with the ReactOS taskbar and Classic Shell 4.3.1 and it looked like this, which is fine:
I then upgraded to version 1803 and it now looks like this:
Hopefully, you can see that there's a bit missing off the bottom of the taskbar and, hence, the buttons on it after upgrade.
Please click on the pictures to see them properly.
I couldn't find anyone who had posted this problem. Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks,

Hi,
In Display Properties, I changed "Icon" from 32 to 30, made the taskbar double height, then back to single height and now it displays correctly. Thanks for your help.
However, I now have a new problem with Explorer. When right clicking on anything it displays as shown here:
This is only with Windows 10 version 1803. It was ok with Windows 10 version 1709. Any ideas please?
Thanks,
You need to adjust the scheme you're using. Go to Display Properties, then the Appearance tab, and fiddle with the options under "Item". Can't remember if it was Menu, Caption Button or 3D Object (or something else) but one of those dictate the taskbar button size - increase/decrease it, hit apply, kill explorer_old.exe from the taskbar then run Startbutton.ahk again to see the results. Keep doing this until you get it the way you want. Then save it. Or try changing the scheme to one that says "Large" or "Extra Large" - that might do it, but it depends on your resolution. Hope that helps. Hi,

Hello, Is anyone else having this issue with the ReactOS Taskbar where the icons for the programs are being shifted to the right and not displaying for the proper taskbar entries? The latest window opened will be blank, and whatever you had open before the icon will shift to the right. So I opened my email client and it went to the explorer tab, and the new explorer tab I opened becomes blank. Odd things like that. I can't seem to figure out how to fix this issue.

Important notice: I don't plan on updating this project ever again, you can consider it abandoned. I don't use Windows 10 anymore since it's a total dumpster fire and an epitome of bad UX/UI design decisions.
Feel free to modify and use it however you want to.
