I had this problem as well, in my case it was due to the "Non Immersive Taskbar Context Menu" mod in Windhawk. If you use that, try disabling it, Hm yeah, that one looks like a mess. It should work just fine with Eradicate Immersive Menus by aubymori, which uses a simpler and more-focused approach to disabling the immersive menus. I haven't encountered any such issue with it, except when ITBar7 decides to be weird, but that only happens after moving toolbars around sometimes.

This is 96dpi, so I don't think so. The throbber scaling is just hacky and it probably doesn't work with the specific layout the user has for some reason. They seem to have broken how things like the throbber band work in IE7 and Vista explorer internet toolbar... Perhaps moving toolbars around will fix it. It appears to be "Classic Explorer Bar" causing it, when I disable it the throbber appears as normal. I use Open-Shell to have the XP buttons there, I don't think there's an alternative for it that's free.

I'm trying the Luna10 theme and it's missing the address bar. pasteboard.co/Z0F2t9Au52Jh.png The instructions say to register ClassicExplorer.dll (which I put in system32 folder) but it gave me an error: pasteboard.co/jIkdT3tR4d5Q.pngIf this has something to do with the address bar not showing up, please advise on how to register the DLL. I tried running cmd as admin and trustedinstaller, both give me that error.

Don't put it in system32. Any other folder should work. It didn't work in Program Files either. Did you specify the dll location while trying to register it? Just putting the dll name may not work. After putting the path before the file name be sure that you are trying to register it with an elevated command line. And if you used a 7tsp pack please grab reedit.exe from a fresh windows iso and replace yours with that. 7tsp packs break regedit making any change to the registry to not apply at all.

Icon packs, packs that you install with 7TSP(7 theme source patcher). I'm not using that, I'm using basicthemer5, UltraUXThemePatcher, OldNewExplorer, Open-Shell, Retrobar and hoping to register ClassicExplorer so I can see the dir path bar in explorer. Can you upload the DLL that works for you? Maybe mine is the wrong one or something.

EDIT: The problem was I didn't have any MSVCP packs installed. Flew over my head that this was a fresh Win10 VM.

This looks awesome ! Is there a compiled version ? I compiled the dll using VS 2022 and I've attached it to this post. You need some net framework version/C++/ some kind of runtime for it to work though, but I'm not sure which sadly. It's all skinned with XP in mind, but you alter the resources with Resource Editor. EDIT: It's Visual C++ Runtime you need. Not sure exact which one, but I had a look in Craft's Project 2k and saw what was installed. I'm pretty sure it's 2010, but downloading and installing 2015 wouldn't hurt either. how to use

Improved version with 3 themes that can be switched easily, text localization from system resources, and ability to disable the Go button and the Address label to the left of combobox. How to switch themes

Left click on the throbber. The throbber is the windows icon in the top right corner of the explorer window. A popup menu with all the options will appear
