Done the lord's work, you have. Any possible workaround for dropdown menus that scroll though? Have to use the bookmarks sidebar for now, since those menus are blanked out.

To fix private windows looking ugly with Echelon, set browser.theme.dark-private-windows to false
Optionally, browser.privateWindowSeperation.enabled can be set to false to disable separate private browser icons in the taskbar

Echelon is wonderful! It does not look very pleasant on high DPI, sadly, but it is still a gift from heavens.

I am loving the project! I am having one problem right now though, the Minimize, Maximize and Close are being covered by a black box, Ive looked online and I don't have any external themes installed and have force glass on.

Set "gfx.webrender.software" to true on about:config, this won't effect performance of the browser.

Jokes aside, that's the actual reporting I've heard, and I guess it makes sense. Despite the name, changing this option seems to actually just make the graphical backend use DirectX directly instead of going through the ANGLE abstraction, which can dispatch between DirectX, OpenGL, and Vulkan.

Well done on the theme!, but I wanna know if it's possible to port Echelon to macOS? Seen here is the screenshot of Firefox with the Australis layout running in macOS.

View AttachmentIt's certainly possible, but I doubt that we'll end up doing it any time soon. We're only developing with Windows in mind, and running macOS is a painful endeavour that requires very specific hardware in the first place. I'm probably the only developer with access to macOS at all, and I don't like to use it at all.

how do i compile firefox native controls for librewolf? Did you follow the instructions in the repository? I'm not familiar at all with the Librewolf codebase (it looks like it's a set of patches to be applied over Firefox, much like Thunderbird is). Looking at its readme, it appears to instruct you to use Mercurial command line still, so I assume you just have to import in the diff files `hg import /path/to/diff`. Then you should just be able to `./mach build`.
Note that you need to apply the 115.6 R2 and 115.7 patches consecutively. I need to clean this up and make it into one diff file, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
Also, you might have to do additional work if Librewolf isn't based on Firefox 115. The patch is only designed for Firefox 115 at the moment, and I will only update it in the coming months as I prepare for the release of 128 ESR.

The theme looks really nice, no doubt about that. There are just a few minor things: The title bar looks kind of...odd. It has a broad classic style title bar with Windows 10 caption buttons on the right side (on Windows 11). Also the dropdown list of bookmarks (neu, M, links on the screenshot) is transparent (I have folders with bookmarks on the bookmarks bar and when you click on them a dropdown menu will be shown)
