Echelon is designed only for Firefox 115 ESR, you will get the same issues with regular Firefox 128.

When i have many tabs opened i'm getting this You can fix it by adding
@media not (-moz-windows-compositor){ #main-window[echelon-appearance-xp][sizemode="normal"] .titlebar-buttonbox{ appearance:none!important; } }
@media not (-moz-windows-compositor){ #main-window[echelon-appearance-xp][sizemode="maximized"] .titlebar-buttonbox-container{ position:initial!important; } }
@media not (-moz-windows-compositor){ #main-window[echelon-appearance-xp] .titlebar-buttonbox-container { top: calc(var(--padded-border) + 4px) !important; } } Anywhere in their custom CSS (it also fixes titlebar buttons being lower when the menu bar is disabled and the window isn't maximized with XP themes)

travis Erizur ephemeralViolette aubymori I know its been a month but I came to ask a question about the future of the Firefox Echelon Project. Because now it seems the Firefox Website will now only download Firefox 128 ESR and this doesn't really work that well on that the last time you updated was February of this year. I was wondering if you would make a version for Firefox 128 ESR? Cause yeah I tried it on Firefox 128 ESR on its current state and its a mess. Everything feels broken.

I can't answer how they're going to handle updating (if they even do at all), but basically 115 esr is the last version of firefox that supports windows 7 and by extension the windows classic theme Versions after this have slowly fazed out some of the controls these skins use like -moz-windows-titlebar and -moz-windows-classic as well as the way controls are drawn with the classic theme For a temporary solution you could try disabling automatic updates in firefox's settings and continue using 115 esr, or maybe trying a fork of firefox that still supports windows 7 (or even xp), other than that though I'm not sure how they're going to handle updates moving forward

Are you using WindowBlinds? If that's the case, it won't work with the theme. Instead, you have to use an msstyle theme and a method to enable the basic theme-style windows for your Windows XP theme.
