I think you'll have to set override Windows version to 7 for Native Controls Patch in order for it to use the correct window metrics for basic theme caption buttons. I don't remember if I made this behaviour conditional, or fixed it in all cases. for some reason installing native scrollbars helped to fix the problem Yes, the same patch fixes multiple issues.

When i have many tabs opened i'm getting this You can fix this by setting an offset to the caption buttons in Echelon's settings. I don't know what would be the correct offset for Windows XP-style windows, so you'll have to test it on your own. Here's how the actual Firefox 7 looks like on Windows XP:

I'm having a bug with my installation. I followed all instructions properly including xur.dll but for some reason my browser is using Windows 10 buttons and has no aero borders. If it helps I'm using ESR 115.6.0 on Windows 10 with WindowsBlinds.
Activating the titlebar partially solves it but I'd rather not see the "File, Edit, View, etc" menu.

Set native controls patch (xul.dll) to emulate Windows 7 in Echelon settings. But this may just be a WindowBlinds issue that we can't really work against.

It would probably be best to not use WindowBlinds.
By the way, you don't have the native controls patch installed (correctly).

It's best to use Aero10 by vaporvance, since that WindowBlinds isn't recommended.
