Ah sorry, my bad. I didn't know that. I'll keep looking though. It does not matter, thanks for the link. Maybe I will point out to the developers of this, because they would be enough to use the clipboard to solve the problem.

Printkey 2000 Link: davidvielmetter.com/tips/printkey-2000-an-oldie-but-a-goodie/comment-page-2/PrintKey2000 is a system tray-based program that can capture your screen or any part of it with the press of the PrintScrn key (or any other key you configure). You can adjust the captured picture's brightness, contrast, color balance, size, color invert, or convert to grayscale or black and white. Pictures can be edited, using an image editor of your choice, printed or saved in multiple formats such as JPG, JPEG, BMP,PNG, GIF, TIF and PCX. You can capture the full screen or just the active window, the client area, or any rectangular or circular area with or without the cursor. You can also insert text and free hand draw on the picture. You can preview the picture, add the date, user info, and any text you choose before printing on the selected printer. "Fun" Fact: Many people, even from back in the day, assume PrintScreen2000 5.10 (the version linked to above) was the last version. This is not true. It's the last freeware version, but the author continued developing the program, well up until 2003. After the release of version of 5.10, the author changed the program's name, reset the program version number and changed the program to a shareware model. The program stopped seeing updates after 2003 until a surprise (and final) one in 2008 to version 1.05, to add support for Windows 7. This would be the last version, and is still available to download fromt their site: www.warecentral.com/index.htm

CoralSoft 9x/ME Task Manager Link: archive.org/details/tucows_196000_Win9x_ME_Task_ManagerA pretty faithful clone of the NT task manager for 9x systems. Also runs without issue on latest versions of Windows. Only issue I've noticed is text for image names and memory usage in the Processes tab don't show.

On the left is a modified Windows 7 Task Manager, with icon and text changes. Credit to Travis for the original idea. To use, install this first and replace the exe with the modified one in this archive (named TM.exe): winaero.com/get-classic-old-task-manager-in-windows-10/On the right is a modified Windows NT 4.0 Task Manager, made to match Windows 2000's. Why? Because the W2k Task Manager crashes if you try to load it on modern Windows versions. Internet Archive is playing up for me, so I'm putting it here. I found this fork of Chromium a few weeks ago,
It is a fork of new Chromium made to work on Windows 7 and 8.x. It will also work on Windows Vista with the extended kernel installed.

I found a weather program that sits in the tray, shows the actual weather as an icon, and that is free. I've had a quick look at it in Resource Hacker, and it's icons are stored as pure data - which is then converted to show up as an image. I'm sure this is can modified to allow your own icons to show. Program's Name: Current Weather. Link: www.suncross.nl/cwe/

This adds the "Paste As File" context menu item in File Explorer (allows to paste clipbord as a file).

NotepadEx is a program built from Windows XP Notepad sources, with additional features, similar to those of current Notepad. github.com/vxiiduu/NotepadExIt can totally replace Notepad by default. The main advantage is that the ClientEdge is natively present. The main problem is that the developer has integrated modern display functions (task dialogs, common file dialogs, new style help interface). I reported the problem here, it looks like it will fix it, at least for the task dialogs.

Maybe using Application Verifier or Windows' compatibility mode setting in the Properties window can fix this issue temporarily?

TrayControl: Freeware alternative to PS Tray Factory. Works on 64 bit systems, allows you to hide system tray icons, as well as taskbar entries. Really easy to use too. Link: baktsoft.online/tray-control-hide-icons-from-system-trayEDIT: As I posted in an earlier thread today, just like PS Tray Factory, this is sadly not compatible with Retrobar.

P.S. Seems it is English-only.
