• The volume control context menu (sndvolsso.dll) can be replaced with any older version.
• The Disk Cleanup utility can be replaced with any older version.
  
• All old version on Notepad can be run on newer Windows version.
• All versions of the internet options CPL applet can be seem interchangeable without modification.
  

• The Windows 1.0.1 programs are patched to display correctly on newer Windows versions (MS-DOS Executive is not included). More details here. This is required to run these applications under 32-bit Windows. Under a 64-bit Windows with Winevdm, this is recommended.
